Holly Willoughby made her return to This Morning on Monday morning after being forced to miss the show due to illness.
The 42-year-old star revealed early last week that she had come down with shingles and had to sit out for a few days as she recovered, but now she is doing ‘much better’.
She said: ‘It’s nice to be back. I’m much better. I had a wobbly week and a half. If anyone’s had shingles, it’s really not the nicest thing, but yes, I’m much better.
‘All mended and back!’
Holly had previously told her followers that she ‘may be away’ from the show for a while following her diagnosis, but vowed to ‘be back as soon as I’m better’.
Over the weekend, she revealed she was on the mend and she finally managed to get outside for some fresh air.

Her post was met with plenty of support from well-wishers, who sent their love and said they hoped she had a speedy recovery.
