Heston Blumenthal’s wife was involved in a horrific car accident that saw her smash into a row of parked vehicles.
Melanie Ceysson’s £80,000 Land Rover Defender has certainly seen better days, as the 4×4 ploughed through another motor’s windscreen.
Her car was then left propped up on two wheels after the shocking incident, which occurred just one mile from her home and close to Heston’s Michelin-starred Fat Duck restaurant on Wednesday (November 1).
Melanie – who is celebrity chef Heston’s third wife – is said to have collided with the row of vehicles after crossing a mini-roundabout in Bray, Berks.
As per The Sun, the 36-year-old’s mother was then trapped inside.
The publication obtained brutal images of the collision, showing the damage done to a silver Nissan Note after it was mounted by Melanie’s motor.

Her mother, meanwhile, can be seen sitting in the passenger seat with her daughter’s dog.
It’s believed that Melanie managed to climb out via the driver’s door, however, her mum and pooch were stuck for over an hour.
Thankfully, though, they were all unharmed and emergency services managed to help them out safely.
Another person’s vehicle that was also damaged in the crash was Sean Fryer.
His £50,000 black BMW X4 suffered suspension damage, all while he was in his kitchen.
‘I went outside and there they were in her brand new Defender,’ he recalled.
‘Her wheel had gone up the side of my car and landed in the windscreen of the car behind.’
The 47-year-old also claims Melanie wasn’t keen to answer questions.
Instead, she allegedly told motorists involved to ‘speak to her PA’.

‘She told me that she had just arrived in the UK the other day. She just said, “Speak to my PA”.’
Sean then told Melanie that he doesn’t know who she is and that she was supposed to take down his insurance details.
When he sent a message to her assistant, he received a reply reading: ‘I can’t talk right now.’
‘I was then told to message another PA and they were really cagey — that’s when I thought it may be somebody famous,’ he claimed.
Chef and TV personality Heston, 57, married Melanie – who is originally from France – earlier this year in her home country, where he moved in 2019.
They got engaged this year as well, following Heston’s split from second wife Stephanie Gouveia, a French estate agent, with whom he shares a daughter.

He was married to his first wife Zanna Blumenthal from 1989 until 2017, but they actually split in 2011.
Heston also has three children with Zanna: Jack, 30, who is a chef himself, Jessie, 28, and Joy, 26.
