Grimes has stressed she is ‘happily proud of white culture’ as she hit out at accusations she is a Nazi.
The Genesis singer, 35, who is battling for custody rights over her three children with Tesla founder Elon Musk, 52, has been compared to a fascist for ‘liking’ Nazi memes on X, which her ex bought in 2022 for $44 billion.
Grimes, who recently expressed loyalty towards Lizzo amid her sexual harassment lawsuit, has now hit back on the platform by saying she feels ‘fine’ sharing her pride in white culture and posited: ‘What if humans just loved each other?’
The Oblivion popstar, born Claire Elise Boucher,continued to explain that she will ‘ride always for the beauty and ingenuity of all humans.’
She wrote: ‘I’m called a Nazi because I happily am proud of white culture. But every day I think fondly of the brown king Cyrus the Great who invented the first ever empire, and the Japanese icon Murasaki Shikibu who wrote the first novel ever.

One of Grimes’ followers told her it wasn’t a ‘motherly statement’ because it was ‘provocative’ – prompting the musician to reply: ‘I want my children to be brave and think of all humans, not just themselves. So I feel fine saying this. Western history ignores its lineage.
‘The idea that white ppl r superior can only exist if u ignore history.’
Grimes’ comments come amid her and Elon’s embroilment in two parental rights lawsuits over their three-year-old son X Æ A-Xii, as well as their two-year-old daughter Exa Dark Sideræl and 19-month-old son Techno ‘Tau’ Mechanicus.

The singer filed a ‘petition to establish parental relationship’ on 29 September in a California court, which makes it identify the legal parents of a child when they are unmarried.
Elon had already taken legal action of his own by suing Grimes in a Texas court three days before she filed her petition.
In his filing, the billionaire demanded to become the legal parent to their three children, claiming he has had ‘actual care, control, and possession of each child since the birth of each child.’
He also noted the care has taken place in Texas, where he resides full-time, for at least ‘six consecutive months.’

Elon accused Grimes of trying to ‘circumvent the jurisdiction’ of the Texas court by declaring herself a non-resident of the state, despite the former couple allegedly living together with their children in the same home from May 2023 to July 2023.
Grimes and dad-of-10 Elon dated from 2018 until their split in March 2022, shortly after the singer welcomed Exa via surrogate.
