Gladiators legend Blaze has revealed an absolutely horrifying list of injuries, ranging from a fractured skull to having her front teeth knocked out.
But, the TV star has admitted they weren’t actually from her stint in the arena – it’s what happened afterwards.
As the new series has hit our screens after more than two decades, with the likes of Sabre, Fury and Steel following in the footsteps of Hunter, Wolf, and Lightening, Blaze (real name Eunice Huthart) took to social media to welcome some new fans.
The now 57-year-old first appeared as a contender in the 1994 series, and was asked to return as an official Gladiator the following year.
She went on to have one of the most interesting careers in Gladiators history after being scouted by James Bond producers for GoldenEye to work as a stunt double.
Eunice then went on to work extensively as Angelina Jolie’s double in films like Maleficent, Wanted and Mrs & Mrs Smith, having bonded with the actress on the set of Lara Croft: Tomb Raider.

But the fame has come at a hefty price, as Eunice admitted on social media, listing more than 10 severe injuries.
She wrote: ‘Wow my Twitter has blown up to all new followers…. I hope to keep you entertained but honestly it is loads of swearing and bevvying from footy highs and lows. A thread on the last 30 years for you ….. since gladiators I entered the film industry as a stunt performer 1/2.’
She then listed: ‘1 fractured skull, 1 fractured cheek bone, 1 broken foot, 1 foot tore open (coronation st would u believe it), 3 broken toes, 2 snapped acl’s (tbf tho 1 was from playing footy), 2 new hips, 1 cracked coxes, 1 tore minor pectoral, 2 front teeth knocked out, Stunt trophy’s.’

During filming for Fast and Furious, Eunice returned to Liverpool from LA, and spoke about ‘waking up with bruises’.
She told the Liverpool Echo: ‘We’re very lucky because Liverpool has this four-lane tunnel which directors just love filming in.
‘It’s great for chase scenes, we worked in it for the Harry Potter films.

‘This time round, though, I’m just doing a bit of driving. I’m taking a bit of a back seat, I’m used to co-ordinating the chaos, but this time I’m just causing it.
‘There’s nothing better than crashing fast cars, brushing myself off and waking up with bruises the next day and starting all over again.
She’s also appeared in the likes of Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, and John Boyega for Star Wars movie The Rise of Skywalker.
