Real Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger is a doubt for the last-16 of Euro 2024 after suffering a leg injury.
The Germany centre-back has been an ever present for his country as they topped a group consisting of Switzerland, Scotland and Hungary.
A last minute goal against the Swiss on Monday night means Germany will face a second-placed team in the last-16.
But Rudiger could be absent for that tie as Sky Germany say he is struggling with a hamstring injury.
It’s claimed the former Chelsea ace has been playing through the pain barrier during the group stages.
And, while Germany’s medical staff are confident he can play in the knockout stages, they are wary of the problem getting worse as Germany bid for the title.
‘He has a bit of a problem with his thigh,’ Nagelsmann said.
‘We’ll have to see. I hope it’s nothing serious. We’ll see. That could be quite problematic.’
Germany will face the runners up in group C in the last-16.
Denmark currently occupy second spot, with England topping the group.
All four teams in group C play on Tuesday night.
