Gemma Collins is reportedly hoping to become a mother in 2024 after revealing that she’s started her fertility journey.
The 42-year-old reality star, who is engaged to Rami Hawash, has suffered from Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) for 13 years and experienced three miscarriages, which she described as ‘devastating’.
However, an insider has now claimed that the festive period is the ‘perfect time’ for her to start a family.
A source told OK! Magazine: ‘Gemma has been trying to become a mother for so long and it’s the perfect time, she’s so excited for Christmas and is hoping for a miracle and a little one for the new year.’
The comments come just weeks after the former Towie standout spoke out following the news that Gordon Ramsay’s wife Tana, 49, had welcomed her sixth child with the celebrity chef, giving her hope for the future.
‘The Tana Ramsay news was the greatest thing to wake up to. Incredible. It really made me think positively about my future and kind of took the pressure off,’ she explained to MailOnline in November.

‘I don’t think anyone knew she was pregnant, so it was a lovely surprise, but I got butterflies in my stomach when I saw it.’
She then revealed: ‘This is amazing news for me. I’m starting my fertility journey within the next couple of weeks.’
Influencer Gemma then divulged that she would be going to an IVF clinic and said that and should ‘watch these cards and get ready for me, honey’.
She previously spoke in May about having a child at 50, thanks to advances in fertility treatment available and having ‘the best doctors going’, but still hoped to conceive naturally.

Gemma previously suffered a miscarriage in 2020 and tragically lost another baby in 2012 after giving birth to the child in her home when it was only four and a half months old.
After settling down with Rami, Gemma has been eager to expand her family now she’s a step-mum to Rami’s five-year-old son Tristan.
‘It’s a lot having a kid,’ she admitted.
‘It’s a big commitment but it’s also very rewarding. But my life will take me where it’s going to take me. It’s taken me this far and as sure as hell it’s not over yet.’
Earlier this month, she posted a sweet tribute to Rami as she marked their three year anniversary with a slideshow of photos of them together.
‘You told me years ago I was your girl and I’ve never managed to get away from you he he [sic] I never forget when our eyes met at the king William in Chigwell,’ Gemma reminisced, adding: ‘There’s been highs and lows, fire and ice, but always LOVE @rami_hawash_ love you.’
She continued: ‘You’re always pushing me when I doubt myself and love me just a home in the garden thank you for all the madness and the love and endless talking about plants he he ❤️’
