GB News: Andrew Neil ‘considers quitting’ in power struggle with boss who wants channel to be ‘UK’s Fox News’
The i says Andrew Neil is considering quitting GB News over the troubled channel’s “lurch to the right,” i understands.
Neil, chairman and flagship presenter of the “anti-woke” challenger station, is embroiled in a power struggle with chief executive Angelos Frangopoulos, a former Sky News Australia boss, who wants to position the channel as an unashamedly right-wing “UK Fox News,” insiders said.
Neil announced that he was taking an extended Summer break from his prime-time politics show, just two weeks after GB News launched.
