Shona Platt (Julia Goulding) is set to accuse Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) of committing a serious crime against Roy Cropper (David Neilson) in Coronation Street, but has she got the right culprit?
In upcoming scenes, Lauren buys Max Turner (Paddy Bever) a watch as a thank you present for being a good friend, making out that she’s been given a promotion at the call centre.
Concerned Max later goes to return the gift, worried that it was too expensive for her. As they talk, they are unaware that Shona is listening in, suspiciously.
As this new spoiler video shows, Shona and Lauren later arrive for work at the café, where Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) is eager to get home for her special early Christmas celebration.

Before she goes, she pulls Shona aside and warns her that the till was £80 short the night before, and asks her to keep an eye out.
Putting two and two together, Shona immediately pounces on Lauren, asking if she has anything she needs to get off her chest.
Lauren’s back is up immediately, as she asks if Bernie has said something.
