Metro – Fujitsu’s boss: We will pay up
Metro says the boss of Fujitsu has indicated the firm will contribute to compensation for those affected by the Post Office IT scandal.
Paul Patterson appeared before MPs on the Business and Trade Select Committee on Tuesday. The Metro quotes Mr Patterson admitting that Fujitsu helped the Post Office prosecute innocent people and that it now has a “moral obligation to contribute” to compensation packages.
