Let the chase begin: Celebrity Hunted is back for another season (Picture: Channel 4)

Celebrity Hunted’s latest line-up of famous faces has been revealed, with stars of Strictly Come Dancing and Off Menu among the faces taking part.

The special episode, broadcast in aid of Stand Up to Cancer, will pit 10 celebrities against each other as they try to escape police and intelligence officers.

Hunted sees contestants attempting to escape from an unknown starting location to an ‘extradition point’ which, if reached, grants them victory.

Famously in the show’s history, the fourth season saw no winners, with all of those taking part ultimately caught – the Hunters were given the win.

The main series began in 2015 and has so far run for six seasons, the latest taking place in 2022, with two winning contestants escaping to freedom.

Celebrity Hunted first aired in 2017, with The Wanted singers Jay McGuiness and Siva Kaneswaran taking the crown on that occasion.

Now, the line-up for Celebrity Hunted 2023, which begins at the end of March, has been revealed.

First up are comedians and hosts of the Off Menu podcast, Ed Gamble and James Acaster. They’ve hosted Off Menu since its inception in December 2018.

Next on the line-up are Strictly Come Dancing professional Katya Jones and former Olympic athlete Aimee Fuller – the pair are said to be best friends.

TV personalities Nik and Eva Speakman, who specialise in life coaching, are entering the competition together as the two oldest contestants at 61 and 53.

YouTuber Saffron Barker and TV mathematician Bobby Seagull are partnered together, while Corrie actress Nicola Thorp and boyfriend Nikesh Patel complete the line-up.

The ten celebrities will each attempt to stay off the radar and remain at large for two weeks as a new crack team of hunters try to hunt them down.

Ian Dunkley, Commissioning Editor for Factual Entertainment at Channel 4, said: ‘We are delighted to be bringing back one of the most thrilling nationwide chase games.’

Earlier this year, an epic line-up for Celebrity Bake Off 2023, also in association with Stand Up to Cancer, was announced.

Friends actor David Schwimmer, TV personality Gemma Collins and former Little Mix member Jesy Nelson all lead an absolutely mega cast.
