Terry Tibbs made his comeback! (Picture: Channel 4)
Channel 4’s celebratory Friday Night Live revival brought its fair share of highs – from Jordan Gray’s iconic ending to Ben Elton kicking things off with a dig at Liz Truss.
But one moment fans had been desperately waiting for didn’t disappoint.
That’s right, Fonejacker was back.
The prankster returned for the one night special after the incredibly popular Channel 4 series stopped airing in 2008.
Bafta-winning Fonejacker saw Kayvan Novak play various characters as he prank-called unsuspecting business owners, and the results were truly hilarious.
In each episode, Novak would play a character, and tonight, he brought back his infamous Terry Tibbs.
‘Please bring back Fonejacker,’ one person begged.
Another wrote: ‘YES FONEJACKER! #FridayNightLive @Channel4 bring it back!’
‘#FridayNightLive bringing back quality comedy, give it a full time slot @Channel4 And while we’re at it, bring back @Fonejacker.’

For anyone who can’t get enough of Fonejacker and is desperate for more, turns out Novak has a whole podcast dedicated to his prank calls.
The podcast’s synopsis: ‘100% brand new prank calls from the BAFTA award-winning Fonejacker himself Kayvan Novak.
‘Featuring classic characters like car salesman Terry Tibbs, serial complainer Dufrais Constantinople, Art Critic Brian Badonde, cold caller Irish Mike, Internet Service Providings and many more!’
Friday Night Live is available to watch on All 4.
