Forest Whitaker’s ex-wife, Keisha Nash, has died at the age of 51.

The sad news of her death was confirmed by their daughter, True Whitaker, on Instagram.

Taking to her story, True posted a selection of pictures of her late mother, beside a heart-wrenching tribute.

‘Goodbye mommy. I love you 4ever and beyond,’ she began. ‘The most beautiful woman in the world…

‘Thank you for teaching me every single thing I know. I’ll see you in my dreams and I’ll feel you in my heart.’

True posted more pictures of her mom set to A Song For You by Donny Hathaway, and At Your Best (You Are Love) by Aaliyah.

Keisha’s cause of death has not yet been confirmed.
