Father’s Day is upon us, with the annual celebration giving us the chance to show appreciation for those important father figures in our lives.
Yep, for the next 24 hours dad gets to take centre stage, in a day for gifts, cards, warm wishes and days out – not to mention a dad joke or two.
For those whose loved ones are no longer with us, Father’s Day may be more about treasured memories and fond remembrance.
But it’s not just about honouring those people who played their part in bringing us into the world – as Father’s Day is about celebrating all of those father figures – whether they’re our biological dad or not.
