Law Roach has left the fashion industry in shock after announcing his decision to retire, declaring that the ‘false narratives finally got’ him.
The celebrity stylist has worked with some of the biggest names in the world, including Celine Dion, Ariana Grande, Hunter Schafer, Kerry Washington and Priyanka Chopra.
His close working relationship with Zendaya makes headlines every single time the Euphoria actress steps in front of a camera – winning the praise of many.
However, the 44-year-old revealed his retirement in a cryptic post on Instagram, with many begging him to reverse his decision.
The Chicago native wrote: ‘My Cup is empty….. thank you to everyone who’ve supported me and my career over the years. Every person that trusted me with their image, I’m so grateful for you all.
‘If this business was just about the clothes I would do it for the rest of my life but unfortunately it’s not!
‘The politics, the lies and false narratives finally got me! You win … I’m out.’
Some of the biggest names in fashion rushed to the comments below, offering Law their support.
British Vogue editor Edward Enninful was among the first, replying: ‘You will always have a home @britishvogue.’
Naomi Campbell commented: ‘Law I won’t let you !!!! We don’t quit .. strived to hard [sic].’

Christian Siriano simply agreed: ‘Absolutely not.’
Iskra Lawrence penned: ‘Not me over here thinking is it April 1st?’
Tess Holliday praised: ‘I only worked with you once, and even though it was virtual I was absolutely blown away by your heart & grace.
‘You are brilliant, kind, & irreplaceable. 1 of 1. Whatever this storm is, we are all sending you love & strength.’
A devastated fan said: ‘Law, please. You’re exactly what the fashion world need. You’re not a stylist, you’re THE stylist. Your impact and important is immeasurable. The doors you open are countless.
‘You’re beyond an inspiration, you’re beyond only great. This has to be a prank, I’m praying it is. We can not lose your talent, your vision and your hand on fashion!’
‘No. Wait. What’s going on? Remember YOU are the secret sauce,’ an Instagram user added. ‘Whatever is next, you have a lot of people in support of you. Stay strong. Sending good vibes your way.’

Throughout his career, Law has dressed some huge names on countless red carpets, and is known for curating some truly jaw-dropping looks for Zendaya.
As well as this, he previously served as a judge on America’s Next Top Model, and is also on the panel of HBO Max’s Legendary competition.
In 2021, he was named one of the ‘most powerful’ stylists by the Hollywood Reporter for his efforts, and also received the stylist award at the CFDA Awards last year.

‘I think that what maybe separates me from other [stylists] is that I really work hard to find who the person is,’ he told Vogue of the accolade.
‘I don’t want to ever change that, I just want to help elevate it, for them to be the best version of themselves.
‘It’s not the way that I make my clients look—it’s how I make them feel.’
