A motorcyclist and his pillion were killed after a crash with a van heading the opposite way.
The rider, a driver in his 30s, and his passenger, a woman in her 30s, died in the collision on the A228 Pembury Northern Bypass on Saturday December 20 2025 at around 6.40pm.
The pair were on a black Triumph motorcycle travelling in the direction of Tunbridge Wells alongside a Jaguar car, which was also involved in the crash with a silver Ford van heading in the opposite direction.
Kent Police and ambulance crews rushed to the crash site, but the motorcyclist and his passenger were confirmed dead at the scene.
Their respective next of kin have been made aware, officers confirmed.
The motorcyclist’s brother paid tribute to his ‘biggest supporter’.
He said: ‘The best big brother and my biggest supporter tragically lost his life last night. I’m broken without you. The pain is indescribable. I’ll miss you for the rest of my life.’
Kent Police are appealing for witnesses, and drivers are being urged to check their dashcams for any footage which may show the vehicles in the moments leading up to the crash.
