PwC Joins Formula 1 as Official Consulting Partner from Miami GP

Formula 1 has announced a groundbreaking partnership with PwC, designating the renowned accounting firm as its official consulting partner starting from the Miami Grand Prix onwards. This multi-year agreement will see PwC providing strategic consulting services aimed at bolstering the championship’s growth trajectory.

PwC’s Role in Enhancing F1‘s Global Reach

As one of the “big four” accounting firms, PwC—also known as PricewaterhouseCoopers—brings a wealth of expertise to the table. The firm, which reported an impressive global revenue of $50.3 billion in 2022, aims to leverage its consulting proficiency across various facets of Formula 1’s operations.

    Strategic Consulting for Future Growth

F1’s Chief Commercial Officer, Emily Prazer, emphasized the natural synergy between the two brands: “As two brands founded upon the need to solve complex problems at the highest level, partnering with PwC is a natural fit for Formula 1.” This collaboration is expected to drive innovation while maximizing performance within the sport.

    Building New Opportunities Together

PwC’s partnership with F1 is not just about analytics and strategy; it also presents extensive branding opportunities for the firm. The iconic racing platform offers PwC a direct channel to its vast and engaged fanbase, both at events and through digital platforms.

    Insights from PwC Leadership

Paul Griggs, PwC’s US senior partner, remarked, “Formula 1 represents the kind of high-performance environment where strategy, speed, and innovation converge—and that’s where PwC thrives.” This highlights PwC’s commitment to tackling complex challenges and contributing to Formula 1’s ambitious goals on a global scale.

The Future of F1 and PwC

With significant brands such as Barilla, LVMH, and ALT Sports Data already aligned with F1 for the 2025 season, the addition of PwC signals a robust future for the sport. As Formula 1 continues to evolve, partnerships like this are essential for maintaining its competitiveness and driving future innovations.
