What channel is Italy vs England? How to watch Euro 2024 qualifiers on TV
EXPRESS SPORT SAYS England will get their Euro 2024 qualification campaign underway in Naples this evening when they face Italy in a bid for revenge over the Azzurri after high-profile defeats in the Euro 2020 final and the Nations League. The Three Lions have failed to beat Italy in the previous six meetings in a run that stretches back over a decade but Gareth Southgate and his players will be hoping to put a long-awaited end to their barren spell tonight.
The game will mark England’s first match since losing to France in last year’s World Cup quarter-finals and Southgate has already urged his squad to put their demons behind them at the very first opportunity by harnessing the pain of their recent past to inspire a triumphant future ahead of the Euros next summer.
“Every disappointment is motivation, an opportunity to learn and to grow and, of course, the Euro final is additional motivation to us, I am not going to deny that,” said Southgate.
