Fancy a classic, and quintessentially British treat with a twist? Look no further than the iconic London Eye’s Afternoon Tea experience.

Nestled right in the heart of London, this exciting outing promises to tantalise not only your tastebuds – as you’ll be able to take in incredible views of the city’s most famous landmarks whilst nibbling on a treat or two.

Just close your eyes and imagine this: you’re seated in the exclusive Eye Lounge Bar, sipping on a perfectly brewed cup of tea, with the London Eye and historic River Thames as your backdrop.

As the Eye gracefully rotates, you’ll be treated to a selection of sweet and savoury delights. Think Smoked Salmon and Crème Fraiche sandwiches, miniature Victoria Sponge cakes, and freshly baked scones with jam and clotted cream. It’s a traditional tea reception with a view that’s hard to beat!

And yes, our stomach is also rumbling…

This experience is perfect for families during half-term, a festive treat in the lead-up to Christmas, or simply a fun weekend activity with your best friend or partner. Picture yourself, enjoying these delicacies, while the hustle and bustle of London life unfolds below you. It’s a unique way to see the city at its best – and something that’s truly magical this time of year.

    What’s included?

A Traditional Afternoon Tea in the heart of London with iconic views of the London Eye and the River Thames.
Access to the exclusive Eye Lounge Bar for just £49 per person.
A delicious selection of finger sandwiches, patisserie, and scones accompanied by jam and clotted cream.
A range of teas to complement your experience, plus a gift box of delectable macaroons.
Option to add a glass of Pommery Brut Champagne for only £15 per person.
    Vegan and Gluten-Free options available.
Add a London Eye rotation for just £29 per person.

When it comes to the best time to book? Consider looking between the hours of 3pm and 4pm, as this time slot allows you to enjoy the afternoon light and, if you’re lucky, catch the golden hues of sunset over the Thames.

Booking in advance is highly recommended, especially during peak tourist seasons, to secure your preferred date and time too.

The construction for the London Eye, also known as the Millennium Wheel, began in 1998, and the wheel was assembled over the River Thames in a horizontal position before being raised upright.

It was later opened by Prime Minister Tony Blair on December 31, 1999, and welcomed the first paying passengers on March 9, 20003.

Standing at 443 feet (135 metres), it was the world’s tallest Ferris wheel until 2006.

Designed by architects David Marks and Julia Barfield, the London Eye has become a symbol of modern London and a must-visit attraction for tourists from around the globe.

So, why not treat yourself to an afternoon of indulgence, breathtaking views and a little bit of history whilst you’re at it? Whether it’s a special occasion or just because, the London Eye’s Afternoon Tea is an experience you won’t want to miss.

Cheers to sips, scones, and skylines!
