King Charles III’s coronation has gripped the nation from his gold state coach to the sweet moment he shared with his son, Prince William.
In celebration of this momentous occasion, we are taking a look back at all the 74-year-old’s honourable hun moments.
Through his years of duty, he’s rubbed shoulders with the Huns of the UK, and he looks like he’s had a ball doing it.

Not content with just standing and smiling, Charles showed he was on the pulse of pop culture and performed Steps’ Tragedy routine.
Of course, Claire Richards dug into the archives on Coronation Day and posted the snap. She wrote: ‘Who would have thought all those years ago,’ and added, ‘God save the King.’ God save Claire from Steps too!
Soapland

Charles has wracked up a few cameos on the UK’s biggest soaps, which technically makes him the first-ever soapstar to be a monarch (kind of).
Celebrating the 40th anniversary of Britain’s longest-running-soap, back in 2000, Charles appeared in an episode of Coronation Street. The then-Prince of Wales appeared on a news bulletin which was played in the episode, airing December 8.

More than two decades after his Corrie cameo, Charles made an appearance on EastEnders alongside his wife, and now Queen, Camilla.

During celebrations for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, the residents of Walford were treated to an appearance from the two very special guests.
Spice Girls

In 1997, Spice Girls were at the height of their girl power and were invited to meet the royal.
Ginger Spice Geri Horner (formerly Halliwell) and Scary Spice Mel B famously broke protocol and kissed the Prince of Wales on the cheek leaving red lipstick marks. Geri took it one step further and patted him on his bum, after disclosing that she thought he was ‘very sexy.’
Geri, 50, later told The Times about the incident: ‘Patting him on the bottom was against royal protocol but we’re all human.’
Years later Victoria, 49, met him again with hubby David Beckham in tow.

She reflected on all her meetings with the monarch on Instagram for the coronation, and revealed he’s always been ‘supportive and kind.’

Backstage at the Royal Variety performance Girls Aloud showed Charles just how many red dresses were on the market.

Cheryl went on to work with Charles at his foundation, The Prince’s Trust, even setting up her own youth centre in Newcastle.
Gareth Gates

The fact that Charles’ exchange with Gareth Gates and Bryan Adams took place at Capital FM’s Party in the Park makes this even more hun-ey.
The 2002 concert was in aid of the Prince’s Trust, which is lovely.
We just really want to know what Charles made of young Gareth’s hair.

Former Countdown star Carol Vorderman has long been a supporter of the royals, hailing the King when he ascended to the throne with an Instagram tribute, in which she praised him for caring about young people’s issues ‘decades before it was popular.’

Long before Tom Hiddlestone put on his ‘I love TS [Taylor Swift]’ tank top, Charles was modelling his ‘I love AK’ merchandise. Okay his vest is on top of his suit, and he doesn’t look like he has too much choice but he’s clearly having fun with it all.
Charles walked so that Tom could run.
