Children explain why they wrote to Rashford, Saka and Sancho: ‘Evil people always get outdone by kind people’
The i says since England lost the final of the Euros on Sunday, children across the country have proved themselves to be far more forgiving and empathetic than some of their adult counterparts.
From homes and schools, young people have been sending letters of reassurance to Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Bukayo Saka, who missed the match’s key penalties, telling them that they still love them – and that they are upset by the racist abuse the players have suffered since the final.
