Naya Rivera remembered on 1st anniversary of her tragic death
One year on from the tragic death of actress Naya Rivera, her fans have flooded social media to remember the former Glee star.
Naya died on July 8 2020 after going missing on a boating trip with her young son, Josey. She was 33.
She had rented a pontoon boat at Lake Piru but when staff found the overdue vessel later that afternoon, only her son was on board.
After an extensive search, five days later her body was recovered from the Californian lake on July 13 – her death was ruled as an accidental drowning.

Rivera got her first acting gig when she was just four years old, as she played Hillary Winston in 15 episodes in the Eddie Murphy-produced sitcom The Royal Family.
She went on to star in shows like Family Matters, The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air, Smart Guy and Even Stevens, and appeared in 11 episodes of The Bernie Mac Show after initially being hired for one guest episode.
Her breakthrough role as Santana Lopez on the hit Fox musical comedy Glee saw her gain massive popularity. She was one of the best-loved characters and hugely influential.
