England face Italy in the second international friendly for the lionesses this camp.
England are currently in Spain where they are enjoying some warm weather training, alongside the under-23s team.
Chloe Kelly is set to return for England’s match on Tuesday following an assessment on a minor injury. But Fran Kirby has withdrawn from the squad because of a “minor knee injury” suffered in the warm-up against Austria.
The first friendly for England saw the Lionesses beat Austria 7-2, whilst Italy plate out a 0-0 draw against Ireland in their international friendly.
Sarina Wiegman said of Kelly: “She is good. She was flying in training so hopefully that’s what she will do today and she will be ready for tomorrow.”
Some of England’s under-23s have been training with the first team this week as the FA looks to strengthen the connections between the senior team and the youth age groups.
Bristol City defender Naomi Layzell, Chelsea forward Aggie Beever-Jones and Manchester City midfielder Laura Blindkilde Brown.
“It’s a really great opportunity to come together. We are in the same hotel and we have a very good relationship with the under-23s. We follow them very closely,” said Wiegman.
“Yesterday was another opportunity to give them the experience to play and train with the seniors. It was for us an opportunity to see where they are at. It was good, they enjoyed it.”
England and Barcelona midfielder Keira Walsh added: “It’s really nice for them to be in and around us. We had four of them training with us yesterday and they had a really great session.
“For us to be working closely with them to share the same ideas of football is great. That’s the idea – that they will come in and take our shirts off us.”
