Chloe (Jessie Elland) taking Reuben was only part one of the revenge Mack (Lawrence Robb) faces in Emmerdale.
Mack’s fruitless search for his missing son has been tortuous, and when he learned Chloe was still in the country, he resolved to stalk Amy (Natalie Ann Jamieson) until she led him to Chloe. It didn’t work and he was left in an even worse place.
Mack went on to steal Amy’s phone and text Chloe, but he gave himself away and ended up pushing Chloe further into the distance.
Frustrated and distraught, things are unravelling fast for Mack.

His relationship with Charity starts to suffer with his focus solely on finding Reuben. He’s not slept, he’s ditched the self-care. Not a great start for their rekindled romance.
The pair end up in a row and Mack storms out, spitting back at her as he goes that he won’t be back for a while. Boy is he not wrong.

In fact, will he ever be back at all? Mack is next seen in a very bad way, unresponsive and bound to a chair. It looks like someone wants him dead, and a good guess would be his ex.

He’s being held hostage in an abandoned factory, and he is not alone. Part two of Chloe’s revenge is taking shape; it seems she’ll go to extremes to achieve her and Reuben’s freedom. With her dad having been cast, and with him having a decidedly checkered past, will he be there to deliver Mack’s next dose of comeuppance?

Emmerdale boss Laura Shaw revealed to Metro.co.uk of Chloe’s dad: ‘We know that he was quite controlling with Chloe and that people are afraid of him, so obviously when she reaches out to him what we will see is him helping Chloe in his own unique way.
‘Is Mackenzie going to be able to talk his way out of this one? We’ll have to wait and see but I think it’s pretty sure to say the repercussions of that are going to be long-lasting into the new year and beyond.’
