Emmerdale star Emma Atkins warned her social media followers about a fake account pretending to be her online.
On Monday, the Charity Dingle actress took to Instagram stories to alert fansabout a Twitter account claiming to be her.
She wrote: ‘Someone is pretending to be me on Twitter with an identical account called @missematkins please don’t follow it is a FAKE ACCOUNT.
‘They have used the same wording from my Instagram account to try and appear authentic. It is not.’
The actress, 28, returned to the role back in 2009, later taking a short break following the birth of her son.
Emma welcomed a baby boy in 2014 and Emmerdale bosses wrote a storyline which saw Charity jailed for two years, allowing for maternity leave.

Emma gave birth to her son Albert on her birthday in March 2015, and described it as ‘the best present.’ She regularly posts on social media and often shares snaps of her stunning photography.

Speaking to The Sun, Emma beamed: ‘We’ve had a lovely, healthy baby boy.
‘He arrived just before my 40th birthday, which was the best present.’
Emma, 48, has been involved in some of Emmerdale’s biggest storylines over the years as resident bad girl Charity.
More recently, Charity uncovered her new husband Mackenzie is the father of Chloe’s baby son Reuben after having a one night stand.
Charity made the shock discovery after she spotted Mack visiting the baby when he was ill in hospital. She even heard her husband tell Reuben he was his dad.
