Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) and Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) were delighted a few months ago when they announced they were expecting a baby together in Emmerdale.
Dawn already has one son called Lucas, who Billy recently became the legal guardian of. The couple also look after Clemmie, who is Lucas’s sister.
Clemmie came into Dawn’s life when she attended the funeral of her friend. When Jade, another mate, invited her back home, Dawn found a neglected Clemmie sleeping in a dog bed.
After discovering Clemmie and Lucas have the same dad, Dawn and Billy were successful in adopting the young girl.

Taking care of Clemmie at Home Farm has come with many challenges and when she discovered Dawn’s pregnancy, she reacted badly, convinced she would head into the care system because Dawn and Billy wouldn’t want her around.
With Clemmie and Lucas now settled with the idea of having another sibling, focus turns to the nursery in upcoming episodes.
Dawn’s baby is due around Christmas so the family are busy getting things in order, but Dawn and Billy end up feeling a little bit quashed by Kim (Claire King) over their decoration ideas.

Later, Dawn approaches Kim and she is left delighted when she asks if she’ll be her birthing partner.
Plans for a home birth and ensuring things are as organised as possible may go out of the window, as Rhona (Zoe Henry) then finds Dawn experiencing pain and rushes to get Liam (Jonny McPherson).
