Aaron (Danny Miller) has proven himself to be a right little oik since arriving back in Emmerdale and his bad boy behaviour finally tipped Chas (Lucy Pargeter) over the edge when she told him they were done for good.
But Aaron isn’t done, not by a long shot – terrorising his mum is far too fun. While he was more than happy to dissolve their relationship, he had no intention of turning his back on Eve.
Things have been immensely uncomfortable for Chas because of this, with Aaron in her face at every turn as he remains determined to spend time with his kid sister.
When Aaron learns that Paddy (Dominic Brunt) has agreed to share their daughter on Christmas Day, Aaron ridicules him for being weak, berating him for yielding to Chas’ wishes.

Insolent Aaron expects the usual bumbling and incoherent response from the vet, but he’s in for a shock. Paddy is done with Aaron’s bully boy behaviour, and snaps.
Paddy forcefully goes against Aaron, sticking up for Chas and telling her she will always be loved by him and Eve. Aaron has lost an ally, and his face is back to looking like he’s sucked on a lemon. The chasm between him and Chas is growing ever wider.

But could there possibly be a reunion on the cards? Chas is heading for fresh drama in the new year. Producer Laura Shaw teased Metro.co.uk that whatever is set to go off in 2024, it could be the catalyst to reunite the warring mother and son.
‘We know that her and Aaron have got quite a strained relationship at the moment and Aaron’s really pushing his mum away, so this could be the story that maybe brings those two back together and bonds mother and son again,’ she said. Wowsa, the impossible is possible.

Little more has been revealed about the drama that’s to come, but she hinted: ‘There’s a huge story coming up for Chas in the new year that’s going to be shocking for all her family and friends and villagers around her.’

Metro.co.uk has speculated that this shock could possibly be a health scare, as whatever it is it would have to be something mega to break down Aaron’s grumpy walls.
