The best thing about a new relationship is all the amazing, spur-of-the-moment, shirt-ripping sex you get to have, so when Mandy (Lisa Riley) finds herself going through a dry spell, it doesn’t bode well for her new relationship with Paddy (Dominic Brunt).
Paddy and Mandy are back from the trip and are ready to tell Bear (Joshua Richards) their exciting news of their new relationship.
Unfortunately, they don’t realise there are ears at the door and Chas (Lucy Pargeter) bristles as she overhears the news that Paddy has moved on.
Paddy and Mandy are blissfully ignorant in their loved-up bubble which nothing can pop.
Well, not entirely nothing. When the couple are alone, randy Mandy pulls her best moves to bed her bloke for the first time since their one-night stand, but she’s shockingly rebuffed.
Embarrassing to say the least, and she’s left feeling worried for their future.
Word spreads through the village about their coupling, meaning they now feel the pressure to be the perfect pair in the locals’ eyes.

Mandy invites Paddy to stay the night, eager to cross the boundary, but once again he pushes back, fumbling over his excuses instead of fumbling over her. One rejection is a minor worry, twice is an alarm bell.
When Rhona (Zoe Henry) pops to the salon for her nails to be done, Mandy jumps on the opportunity to offload her worries.
Mandy reveals her fears over her and Paddy’s lack of intimacy, but Rhona gives her pause for thought.
But there’s something going on that Paddy hasn’t told Mandy and he turns to best mate Marlon (Mark Charnock) to share his woes.
