Cathy has put lives in danger (Picture: ITV)
Emmerdale’s Cathy Hope (Gabrielle Dowling) has made a dangerous mistake by stealing a car with Heath (Sebastian Dowling) and Angelica King (Rebecca Bakes) inside.
It was New Year’s Eve in the village during Friday’s (December 29) episode of the ITV soap, which meant opportunities to host and attend parties.
In the cafe, Cathy and Heath were discussing the prospect of attending a party in Hotten.
The twins needed to arrange a lift from an adult but with Bob (Tony Audenshaw) and Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) busy organising their own New Year event at the B&B, plus taxis being far too expensive, they were left a dead end.

Stuck at the B&B, Cathy, Heath and Angelica were bored and frustrated.
They then decided to sneak out and steal a bottle of booze on the way.

Joined by April (Amelia Flanagan), the group of mates returned to the King household and discussed attending the party in town after all.
Unable to travel with an adult, Cathy resulted in stealing the keys to Wendy’s (Susan Cookson) car and prepared to break the law.
