Mack’s (Lawrence Robb) despicable behaviour drove a desperate Chloe (Jessie Elland) to go on the run with her baby son. But the young mum, who only recently suffered a brain injury, is vulnerable and at risk.
Mack and Charity (Emma Atkins) planned to keep their affair under wraps until Christmas as they felt Chloe was too fragile for Mack to end their relationship.
But as things escalated and they start sneaking off for sex behind Chloe’s back, Charity began getting itchy feet that Mack – not known for his reliability – would not follow through with his promise.
But for once he was adamant to sticking to his guns to prove his love to Charity, and he ended up dumping Chloe out of the blue.

He later cruelly snogged Charity in full view of a hurting Chloe. Something in her snapped, and she vowed to block Mackenzie from ever seeing Reuben again by hot footing it to France.
Given that Mack cheated on her, left her to die, promised to dedicate his life to her, then fired up an affair behind her back, it’s not surprising Chloe fully intends to crush him.

But now that she’s carried out her plan, her desperately loyal sister Amy (Natalie Ann Jamieson) has no clue as to where she truly is and is worried for her safety.
Mack believes her to still be nearby and has been searching high and low for signs of her and his son. While Mack is out searching for Chloe, Amy fears she’ll never hear from Chloe again and that the betrayed mum will follow through with her plan to leave the country.

Charity is sure they will get Reuben back, but she tells Mack he needs to play the game and appease Amy.
She is clearly the gatekeeper to Chloe’s whereabouts, or at least will be the first person Chloe will contact. But does Amy even know where Chloe is or has she really left for good?
