There was progress for Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) in Friday’s (November 10) episode of Emmerdale as Mandy (Lisa Riley) furiously confronted him about bullying son Vinny (Bradley Johnson).
Aaron returned to the village as an angry and troubled man. After dodgy jobs in Italy, Aaron was taken back to England by Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) and Caleb Milligan (William Ash), but was also struggling to process Liv Flaherty’s (Isobel Steele) death that happened last year.
Recently, Aaron found a friend in Vinny and they started working together at the scrapyard.
However, when Aaron learnt that Vinny had been updating Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) on her son, he unleashed his anger and attacked him.

Still demanding money, Aaron attacked Vinny again yesterday but then realised he had gone too far and tried to apologise.
Tonight, after Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) told Mandy that Aaron had been bullying Vinny, the beloved character grabbed her coat and headed over to the cafe.
Seeing the injuries on Vinny, a fuming Mandy then found Aaron at the scrapyard.

The absolute icon said that while she thinks Vinny and Aaron are similar because of what they’ve been through (they have both lost Liv, and were abused by their fathers), the difference is that Vinny has chosen to go down a good path – Aaron hasn’t.
The comments were enough to touch a nerve for Aaron, who then made his way to the Dingle household to talk to Vinny.

Once again, Aaron apologised, but Vinny took control of the situation and said if they’re to continue working together, they need ground rules.
Aaron listened and then later, arrived at the pub to see Eve.
Walking in with the pancake mix he promised Eve, Aaron told Chas that he’s only staying in the Dales for his sister and as far as he’s concerned, they can just stay out of each other’s way.
So, Aaron is staying.
Given the progress in tonight’s episode, will we start to see him on a better path now?
