Plenty more Moira! (Picture: ITV)
Emmerdale icon Natalie J Robb has signed a new deal that will see Moira Dingle remain in the soap for at least another year.
The fan favourite will enter her 15th drama packed year, with no signs of her storylines slowing down.
At the moment, she is central to a storyline involving her newly released from prison husband Cain (Jeff Hordley).
In scenes next week, Moira will be staggered when Cain decides to cut Kyle from his life, citing it as for the child’s own good.
Moira will do all in her power to talk him out of it, but it remains to be seen if she is successful.
It comes after Cain was jailed for the murder of Al Chapman, having taken the blame for his son, played by Huey Quinn.
And Natalie recently heaped praise on the child star, telling Metro.co.uk: ‘Seeing little Huey being able to come out into his own a little bit, he’s only ten years old, and in story terms, that’s the true age as well.
‘It’s quite a good thing to watch him grow as an actor and have more lines and dialogue and see him have his first big storyline.
‘It’s the first proper storyline for Huey, so for me on a personal note for Huey I think it’s a really wonderful thing. He’s enjoying it, he’s embracing it.’
A source told The Sun: ‘Bosses are delighted Natalie has signed a new deal.

‘She’s beloved by fans and plays one of the show’s biggest characters. There will be some big things coming up for Moira this year.’
Throughout her time in the show, Moira has been adored by viewers, as has her fiery partnership with Cain, affectionately dubbed ‘Coira’.
She was also part of a steamy affair with Cain’s son Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter), which culminated in stunt scenes involving a boat explosion.
Her life was also at risk in a barn fire started by killer Emma Barton – but ultimately Moira went on to kill her, by pushing her from a bridge.
The renewed contract comes hot on the heels of Chris Chittell signing on to stay as Eric Pollard.
And it’s great news for her many fans!
