Tears and trauma next week (Picture: BBC)
There are two emergencies in the Slater household during next week’s EastEnders episode as 13-year-old Lily (Lillia Turner) goes into labour – while mum Stacey (Lacey Turner) is being held hostage in the kitchen.
Terrified teen Lily’s ordeal worsens when it becomes clear that the baby will have to be delivered at home.
Jean (Gillian Wright) is on hand to support, but has no idea where Stacey is. Little do they know how much danger she is in.
Stacey has realised the truth about her deranged stalker Theo (William Ellis), and he has closed in, not letting her leave the room.
Meanwhile, there is fresh anguish for Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) as it is time for Lexi to head to secondary school – a day that stirs up some real emotion.
It has such an impact that Ben drowns his sorrows, and his health threatens to spiral further.
And Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) secures a business opportunity for Cindy (Michelle Collins), but it means she has to go toe to toe with ruthless Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry).
