Stacey needs more cash (Picture: BBC)
Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) has been desperately trying to figure out how to make ends meet as she struggles against the cost of living crisis in EastEnders.
With the bills mounting up and a new Slater baby on the way, Stacey will do whatever she can to put food on the table.
Though the bap van is back up and running after the break in, the earnings it brings in will only get them so far.
Desperate, Stacey takes herself over to the Vic where she asks Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) if she has any part time work going.
Unfortunately the answer is no, leaving Stacey feeling lost.

However, Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) soon arrives to save the day, having secured them some extra cleaning shifts.
The extra hours soon take their toll on Stacey though, as she ends up exhausted after working a night shift.
As she rushes to open the bap van, she ends up scalding her hand, leaving her in agony.

How much more will Stacey be able to take?
EastEnders producer Chris Clenshaw has teased unexpected action for Stacey, saying:
‘This year Stacey finds herself doing something she’s never done before in an effort to protect her family and unborn grandchild.’
Just how far is she prepared to go?
We know that by the end of the year, things for Stacey will get pretty dramatic, as she becomes embroiled in a murder, along with five other Walford icons.
In a flash-forward scene aired on February 20, Stacey was scene with blood on her hands, standing over a dead body.
With ten months to go until that Christmas Day murder, what will lead Stacey to that point?
