Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) got a huge shock in recent EastEnders scenes when she was approached by sinister stalker Theo Hawthorne (William Ellis).
The last time we saw Theo on screen, he was lying in a hospital bed having been beaten with an iron by Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier).
Freddie and Stacey were left terrified when they realised that Theo was unconscious, and soon Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) was helping them to make the crime scene look as though Freddie had acted in self defence.
Of course, viewers will know that Freddie lashed out at Theo to protect Stacey, as Theo was trying to rape her.
Despite their efforts, Freddie was arrested for attempted murder, but was able to stick to the story that Eve had given him.

Unfortunately, it was soon revealed that Theo had woken up, and that his story told a very different tale about the events of that night.
This week, Theo was due in court, which left Stacey incredibly on edge.
Not wanting to be at the hearing and witness Theo plead not guilty, she stayed away, getting regular updates over the phone.

While walking through the market, she was shocked to learn that the court had adjourned, but that wasn’t the biggest surprise she was going to get.
Theo immediately approached her from behind and said nonchalantly said hello, leaving Stacey gobsmacked.

He ignored her as she pointed out that he couldn’t be there, and asked her to give him half an hour to talk.
As Stacey reeled, he explained that it would be worth her while to listen to him.
