Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) is set to get a shock when Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall) punches him in upcoming EastEnders scenes.
As a despondent Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) arrives at the Bookies for a pep-talk with Alfie, he unintentionally causes a row between him and Tommy when he lets slip that Tommy was the one to confirm Graham’s identity.
Later, a horrified Alfie finds Tommy in the park with his friend Perry, and causes a scene as he orders Tommy home, where things only escalate further.
The following day, Alfie is keen to make amends, but when he bans Tommy from seeing Perry things turn sour.
When Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) later arrives, he reveals that he knows that Tommy punched Alfie, and drops the bombshell that he has also lashed out at Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace).

Concerned by his violence, the pair decide that it might be a good idea to take Tommy to Boxing Den.
Alfie, however, is still in pain from the punch, and when Phil finds him grimacing, he suggests that he goes to hospital.
When the time comes to take Tommy to Boxing Den, Alfie is unenthusiastic, having received news from the hospital.
