Newcomer Priya (Sophie Khan Levy) knows exactly what she’s doing in upcoming EastEnders episodes as she works out a way to threaten Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal).
Priya is the ex-girlfriend of Ravi (Aaron Thiara) and mother of Avani (Aaliyah James). They arrived a few weeks ago and moved into the Panesar household after revealing they had nowhere to live.
Recently, after catching Priya kissing Nish (Navin Chowdhry), Suki used this as a chance to escape the marriage and start again with Eve (Heather Peace).
In future episodes, Suki faces a hurdle when Priya reveals she knows the truth.

She offers to pay her £2000 for her silence but Priya counters to £3k. Suki eventually accepts after Priya threatens to grass Vinny (Shiv Jalota) up to Nish and later hands over the stolen money from the call centre.
However, they both remain unaware that Nish is secretly watching the exchange.

As the week continues, Nish intercepts Suki’s cash exchange with Priya and questions her motives. Priya lies and insists that Suki took the money so she and Avani could find their own flat.
With Nish stopping Suki from handing over the money, she’s forced to give £200 to Priya from the Minute Mart, with the newcomer telling Suki that she’ll blab if she doesn’t get the full amount.

Later, Vinny closes up the shop and informs Nish that the tills are £200 short.
Investigating the CCTV, Nish is horrified to discover the footage of Suki and Eve kissing.
‘He’s investigating the possibility that there’s been some money stolen from the business,’ actor Navin Chowdhry explained. ‘While trying to discover who is behind the theft he watches some CCTV footage in the Minute Mart to try and catch someone stealing money from the till.

‘On watching that footage he goes back and suddenly finds Eve and Suki together in the shop. He’s intrigued at what they might be talking about, and that’s when he sees them kiss.’
