Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker) has been Albert Square’s smooth-talking love machine for as long as we can remember, but things may not go as smoothly as he would hope in upcoming EastEnders scenes.
With Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) having got back into the swing of making videos for her Kimfluencer channel, she soon decides to recruit Patrick for her latest video.
His job is to dish out love advice, something he has been known to do over a rum in the Queen Vic once or twice.
He reluctantly begins to offer his advice in the hopes of satisfying Kim, but is soon faced with a shocking interruption, as former flame Yolande (Angela Wynter) arrives.
She quickly reveals that current boyfriend Anton has thrown her out and explains that she wants to stay with Patrick.
Not long ago, Patrick headed off to visit Yolande in an attempt to win her back, after a win on the horses left him feeling lucky.
However, with Yolande at his doorstep, he grows nervous and wonders whether having her stay would be such a good idea.
Yolande is left bruised by his hesitation and storms out, leaving Patrick conflicted.
Kim is instantly confused and desperate to know why Patrick isn’t fighting to win his true love back, while Denise Fox (Diane Parish) makes it her mission to convince Yolande to stay.

When Yolande opens up to Denise, she realises that Patrick may be running out of time.
She urges him to talk to Yolande and explain just how much he really cares for her before she decides to leave for good.
Patrick’s heart is on the line as he debates whether to admit his true feelings or let her head back to a life with Anton in Birmingham.
