Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold) will be diagnosed with a brain tumour in upcoming EastEnders episodes.
Following her diagnosis, Lola will undergo surgery, as new images show.
While Lexi (Isabella Brown) prepares to go on stage for her pageant, Lexi suffers another dizzy spell, before collapsing and suffering a seizure.
She is rushed to hospital after being found by Jay (Jamie Borthwick) and Ben (Max Bowden), where she is informed that her brain tumour may be cancerous.
We now know that Lola will undergo an operation following this revelation.
EastEnders have worked closely with Brain Tumour Research and Macmillan Cancer Support in order to provide accurate and sensitive representation of this tough story.
Fans of the show will be aware that Danielle is leaving the BBC soap, and that this storyline will end tragically with Lola’s death.
