Lily was ashamed of her behaviour (Picture: BBC)
Lily Slater (Lillia Turner) faced the wrath of her mother Stacey (Lacey Turner) in recent EastEnders scenes after behaving irresponsibly with daughter Charli.
13-year-old Lily was coming to terms with the idea of being a new mum, and getting used to the changes that would bring to her life.
Despite her initial fears while in the hospital, Lily was keen to be Charli’s sole carer, and asked Stacey if she would go out and leave her and Charli alone together for a few hours.
Stacey was obviously horrified by the idea, especially considering the fact that her terrifying stalker Theo Hawthorne (William Ellis) was on the loose, but when Lily pointed out that she had been left alone with siblings Hope and Arthur, she began to sway to the idea.
As Lily revealed that she was worried she wouldn’t be able to transition to Charli’s full time carer if Stacey continued to interfere, she decided to leave Lily and Charli alone for two hours, in order to help business partner Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) with the lunchtime rush.

The only condition was that Lily had to report to Stacey via text every 15 minutes, and with Jean (Gillian Wright) popping in and out all day, she was assured that nothing bad would happen.
Unfortunately, things soon got out of hand, when Ricky Mitchell (Frankie Day) came over and encouraged Lily to take Charli to the park to see their friends, using the argument that the fresh air would do the baby good.
As they met with their friends, Denzel Danes (Jaden Ladega) soon came up with the idea to try and get a viral video out of baby Charli, in order to try and get free stuff from brands.

Their plan was to feed Charli a crisp and film her reaction – something which could have proved fatal had Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) not intervened.
Thankfully, the doting granddad caught them mid video, and instantly put a stop to it with a few stern words.
He soon marched an ashamed Lily and Ricky over to Stacey, where he made it clear that he wasn’t happy with how things were going.
