Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) is set to get herself further mixed up in Keanu’s (Danny Walters) dangerous kidnapping plot in EastEnders as she takes drastic action to stop their plan from being rumbled.
After learning that Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) planned to take son Albie to Abu Dhabi, Keanu came up with a sinister plan to kidnap him and start a new life elsewhere.
However, things took a turn when Keanu couldn’t get away in time, and soon decided to tell Sharon that Albie had been abducted from the park.
With police all over the case in upcoming scenes, the pressure is on for Keanu and Karen as the Walford residents rally round to try and track down the missing boy.
Having received a ransom note from the kidnappers, Sharon fears for Albie’s safety and hides the letter from the police, before revealing all to Phil and Kat Mitchell (Steve McFadden and Jessie Wallace), who agree to lend her the money to pay the ransom.

Meanwhile, Karen is completely panicking about what she has got herself into, worrying about the consequences of Keanu’s plot.
Despite this, she finds time to drop another ransom note detailing the time and place they want to exchange the cash, which is where things start to go downhill for her and Keanu…
Sharon remains distraught as she fears for Albie’s wellbeing and insists that they go along with whatever the kidnapper wants to prevent any harm coming to her son.

Phil is quick to suggest that he take the money and deal with the kidnapper himself, but Keanu refuses under the guise that he wants to do the drop himself.
When Phil insists on accompanying him, Sharon agrees, and Keanu is fearful that his plan has been rumbled.

The race is suddenly on for Karen and Keanu to find a way of returning Albie to Sharon without being exposed as the true kidnappers.
Soon, Karen comes up with a plan as she texts Sharon from a burner phone, demanding that whoever brings the money to the park must come alone.
At No.43, Keanu manages to convince Sharon to let Karen make the exchange, sharing his fears that things might go sour if Phil goes in heavy handed.
