Cindy is back! (Picture: BBC)
This is it, the moment EastEnders fans have all been waiting for… Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) is BACK!
We never thought we’d see the day that iconic villain Cindy stepped foot back in Albert Square, but that moment is crawling ever closer, as recent scenes saw the legend finally touch down in London.
Cindy has been living in France after reuniting with Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt), completely unaware that her other family, the Knights, have relocated to Walford.
This was something that Ian had discovered, however, and he was determined to keep Cindy away, resorting to using her fears around her witness protection being over to keep her in France.
However, Cindy’s secret family was soon rumbled by son Peter (Thomas Law), who became desperate to meet his new sisters, and was soon making his way back to Walford in order to do just that.

It wasn’t long before Ian was forced to tell Cindy where Peter had gone, using the excuse that he had gone to sort out the mess that the fish and chip shop was in.
In reality, Peter’s main goal was to slyly get to know his sisters, though this backfired when Gina Knight (Francesca Henry) thought he was coming onto her.
With Peter gone, Cindy instantly grew fearful that he may be in danger, and resolved to go after him, though Ian was keen to put a stop to that.
While in the midst of making amends in Albert Square, Peter received a voicemail from Ian, summoning him home to France.
