Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) discovers a huge secret about George Knight (Colin Salmon) in EastEnders soon.
It’s been a difficult few weeks for Linda. Recently, she was horrified when Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) returned and entered the pub kitchen.
The evil character, who hasn’t seen Linda for years, explained he was back in Walford because he needs to be closer to a hospital where his daughter Jade is staying.
Due to no one wanting to employ Dean because of his history, most notably the fact he raped Linda, he became a businessman and created an income in Albert Square by investing in Ian (Adam Woodyatt) and Cindy’s (Michelle Collins) new pie and mash shop.

In upcoming episdoes, it’s launch day for the business but Dean is furious to see ‘rapist’ written in graffiti across the window.
Convinced it was down to Linda, Dean has a nasty confrontation with her and the Knight family in front of a crowd where he states that he can sue Linda for slander.

Elaine (Harriet Thorpe) and George are worried legal action could result in them losing the pub, and after advice from Jack (Scott Maslen), Linda reluctantly goes to strike a truce with Dean.
Later, upstairs in the pub, a tense stand-off ensues between George and Dean, but George is horrified when Dean ends up falling down the stairs and lies motionless at the bottom.

In the aftermath, Cindy calls the ambulance and tells everyone she didn’t see what happened, making Ian furious that she’s covering for George.
At the hospital, Ian begs Cindy not to lie for George and she eventually agrees to tell the police the truth.

Back at home, after discovering that George is on a suspended sentence and is at risk of going to prison, Linda takes matters into her own hands.
