The happy times do not last for Keanu and Sharon (Picture: BBC/Jack Barnes/Kieron McCarron)
There’s never a dull time in EastEnders, and not even the King’s Coronation taking place down the road (pretend Albert Square’s real, okay) is slowing down their own royal dramas.
First up, there’s the ongoing scandal involving Keanu’s arrest.
In Monday’s episode, fans saw Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) running late juggling a dodgy deal for Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) and a christening service (talk about original sin).
Parking the van outside and rushing into the church, it all goes horribly wrong as Albie’s christening ends up with Keanu in cuffs as he’s arrested with the intent to supply the drugs he was transporting.
Let’s find out what happens in Tuesday’s follow up episode and what else is happening across the square…
Things go from bad to worse for Keanu
Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) and Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) desperately try to defend Keanu following his arrest at the christening.
Ravi, overhearing that something went down, realises Keanu could dob him in to save himself.
Ravi worries Keanu ratted him out – and seeks revenge (Picture: BBC/Jack Barnes/Kieron McCarron)
At the police station, DS Barnes tries to strike a deal for Keanu to rat out his bosses. When Keanu returns to the pub, Ravi demands to know whether he turned him in. Keanu swears that he didn’t, but Ravi later catches up with him and threatens revenge…
Oh dear.
If that wasn’t enough, Sharon decides she can’t take anymore and welcomes him back from the slammer with her own slammer. She belts him across the face and orders him out of her life. For good.
Oh dear again.
Will Ravi actually carry out his threats?
Janine’s sentence is lean – and it makes Linda mean
Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) is shaken (or shook, as the kids say) by Janine Butcher’s (Charlie Brooks) sentence – it’s only five years. Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) tries to console her, but Linda is consumed by her loss and tells him she envies Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) because he gets to say goodbye to Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold).
She breaks the bad news that she can’t face throwing the Coronation party, not without Mick Carter (Danny Dyer).

Trust evil queen Janine to rain on the King’s parade.
Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick), however, comes up with a beautiful idea to include Mick in the celebrations. Will it be enough to convince Linda?
Billy, DO be a hero
Billy isn’t just busy trying to fix things for Linda – he steps up in the most heartwarming way for Jay.
Jay, who is trying to care for Lola as she battles her terminal illness and manage the garage and the funeral parlour, is struggling to keep his head above water.

In a touching gesture of community, Billy approaches Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) and they make a plan to cover all of Jay’s work – all while he can still get paid.
Jay lets Lola know he’s been given paid compassionate leave, and the two can look forward to some quality time together.
Sonia makes an embarrassing mix up
Good old Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) can be relied on to at least deliver a storyline that’s less doom and gloom, despite being comically cringeworthy.
Getting crossed wires with Reiss Clowell (Jonny Freeman) as he sets about planning a big party, Sonia thinks she is the belle of the ball – and this causes her to start gushing about her feelings.
Will Sonia overshare and embarrass herself or will Reiss realise the error and make her feel like the queen that she is?
EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
