The festive season is approaching and over in EastEnders, the Knight family are busy preparing for their first Christmas in Walford.
Head of the family Elaine (Harriet Thorpe) is determind to make The Vic sponsored Christmas event in the Square a huge success so in upcoming episodes, she spends the day ordering George (Colin Salmon) and the family around.
However, her plans are tested when things start to go wrong.
Meanwhile, Yolande (Angela Wynter) starts recruiting for her community choir – but she also doesn’t have a lot of success.

When Elaine gets word of Yolande’s plans, she can’t resist muscling in, but her booze bribery tactics don’t impress her new rival.

Towards the end of the week, Elaine tries to take over Yolande’s choir which leaves her unimpressed.
As battle lines are drawn, will the two women realise finding common ground and working together will create a better outcome?

‘We have the Beales and the Knights come together at Christmas to have Cindy’s first Christmas in ten years with her daughters and Peter, but what becomes quite apparent is her and George’s connection when they actually start to reminisce about Christmases of the past, of them together in Marbella – which is not what anyone, especially Ian or Elaine, want to hear on Christmas Day!’
