Amy finds one of Linda’s flyers (Picture: BBC)
This article contains spoilers from Thursday’s (November 16) EastEnders, which has NOT yet aired on TV but is available to watch now on BBC iPlayer.
Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) has been really struggling since the return of rapist Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo), and took steps in tonight’s episode to try and drive him away.
Unfortunately, her efforts backfired, and left Amy Mitchell (Ellie Dadd) heartbroken in the process.
After learning that Dean had waltzed into the pub handing out flyers and tried to talk to her son Ollie, Linda decided that she had to make a stand, and with the help of Alfie Moon and Gina Knight (Shane Richie and Francesca Henry), she had soon designed some flyers of her own.
The flyers encouraged people to boycott Beale’s Eels – the business Dean had set up with Ian and Cindy Beale (Adam Woodyatt and Michelle Collins) – by revealing that Dean was a rapist.

Viewers will know that Dean raped Linda in 2014, but the case was dropped due to a lack of evidence, meaning that he had never been convicted for the crime.
While women like Priya Nandra-Hart and Suki Panesar (Sophie Levy Khan and Balvinder Sopal) were full of praise and support for Linda, people like Martin Fowler (James Bye) worried that her actions may come back to hurt her.
Soon, Linda also received a visit from detective Jack Branning (Scott Maslen), who told her that, though he was with her in spirit and agreed that Dean should be behind bars, legally she could run into problems.

He then revealed that daughter Amy had seen one of the flyers, and, knowing that her mum Roxy Mitchell had been in a relationship with Dean, had started asking questions.
Viewers will remember that Dean also attempted to rape Roxy, but was thankfully interrupted when Shirley Carter (Linda Henry) came in.
Roxy immediately reported her ordeal to the police, but was devastated when Dean was found not guilty in court.

Jack told Linda how he was forced to explain what had happened between Dean and Roxy, and poor Amy, who has struggled with her mental health in the past year, had taken it badly.
Linda was heartbroken to hear how her actions had affected Amy, though Jack assured her that they had things in place to help her get through it.
He went on to warn her that she needed to be careful to not get herself in trouble, as Dean had caused enough damage already.
When Dean caught wind of the flyers, he stormed into the Queen Vic and protested his innocence, claiming that he would sue Linda for libel if they weren’t all removed by the next day.

Later, Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) made it clear that she didn’t think what Linda had done was a good idea, and urged her to deal with it differently.
When they were interrupted by Ollie, who had drawn a picture of the family, Linda was horrified to see that he had included his ‘uncle Dean’.
She was quick to show the picture to Alfie, pointing out how Dean had managed to get inside everyone’s heads.
Desperate to have nothing more to do with him, Linda told Alfie that she wanted all of the flyers gone by the morning, and Alfie reluctantly agreed.
However, someone wasn’t going to let it lie, as, under the cover of darkness, the front of Beale’s Eels was spray painted with the word ‘rapist’.
Who is behind the vandalism, and will it come back on Linda?
