EastEnders star and icon Natalie Cassidy has posted a sweet Instagram post to celebrate her daughter’s 7th birthday.
The actress, best known for her role as Sonia Fowler in the BBC One soap, has a daughter called Eliza who was born in 2010 and Joanie, who was born in 2016.
Natalie shares Eliza with her ex-partner Adam Cottrell, while Joanie is the daughter of Natalie and her fiancé Marc Humphreys.
Marc and Natalie have been together for nine years with the cameraman popping the question back in 2015.
In a new social media post, Natalie shared a sweet picture of Joanie. She is seen smiling next to a birthday balloon.
‘Our Joanie is 7! You rock! You are so funny and so clever. We all love you so much’, Natalie wrote alongside.
Natalie’s EastEnders co-stars were on hand to also send the young girl some birthday wishes.
The likes of James Farrar (Zack Hudson) and Molly Rainford (Anna Knight) posted emoji comments while Kellie Bright, who plays Linda Carter, said: ‘Happy Birthday Gorgeous Joanie’.
Her followers also shared some kind comments on the picture, with many pointing out how much Joanie looks like her mum.
Natalie dyed her dark hair a much lighter colour recently, with fans and friends saying how much they liked it.
But despite the positive reaction, Natalie revealed that she is heading back to the hairdresser in order to go back to her original colour, saying on her social media that she doesn’t feel herself.

Away from her hair woes, Natalie has been kept busy at work, as her character Sonia has embarked on a new journey with partner Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman).
Sonia recently confided in Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) that she feared she may be pregnant, and was left horrified by Reiss’ very strong, negative views on having children.

When Reiss found the test, he accused Sonia of cheating on him, revealing that he was unable to have children of his own.
Sonia angrily revealed that the test was negative, and she would never cheat on him. After realising that Reiss must have had tests to learn that he was infertile, she came to the conclusion that he wanted children, just not with her.
Reiss soon proved her wrong by proposing that they try for a baby through IVF.
