EastEnders legend Michelle Collins has been faced with a holiday disaster after losing her passport at Malaga airport.

The actress put out a plea for help on Twitter/X after discovering that her passport was missing, revealing that she may not be able to fly home and asking for advice from the airline she was travelling with.

Unfortunately, she later updated fans that she had missed her flight after not being allowed to fly and had to wait until the next morning before trying again.

She added that she was supposed to be filming EastEnders, but assured fans that she was safe and well despite the hiccup.

Please @easyJet can you help me I have lost my passport at Malaga airport the police ( I have been there ) say it is up to the airline to let me fly home ,, my flight is at 8 30 pm tonight I am heading to the airport having just left the police station . Thank you Michele x

Michelle made a shock return to EastEnders earlier this year as the presumed dead Cindy Beale, taking fans completely by surprise.

It was explained that the character’s death had been faked to allow her to go into witness protection after taking a plea deal.

During her time away from Albert Square, Cindy took the name Rose and had a second family with new Queen Vic landlord George Knight (Colin Salmon).

Since her return, things have been tense between Cindy and George, as well as their respective partners, Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) and Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe).

In upcoming scenes, George will confide in Cindy about the truth surrounding his adoption, leaving Elaine feeling pushed out.

Are Cindy and George getting too close for comfort, or is Elaine and George’s relationship solid?
