A number of EastEnders fans have put their heads together on social media this week to come up with a theory about the murder weapon involved in this year’s huge Christmas murder – and the evidence seems to stack up.

With the arrival of Priya and Avani (Sophie Khan Levy and Aaliyah James) came the arrival of a new decor item in the Panesar home, and fans instantly spotted the significance of it.

After being thrown out of their flat, Priya and Avani gathered their things, being sure to pick up a vase from the kitchen table.

Avani later revealed the significance of the vase to the Panesars, explaining that it was the only thing they’d ever been able to afford to buy that they didn’t need.

The next day, when Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) moved the vase from pride of place in the centre of the dinner table, Priya made a big deal about putting it back – a move that really caught fans’ attention.

Taking to X/Twitter, one fan pointed out the unique colours on the vase, pointing out that it looked like it contained all the colours of The Six.
