A mistake from Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) puts Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) in huge danger on Christmas Day in EastEnders.

A few weeks ago, Suki was planning to leave Walford with Eve (Heather Peace).

The plan to start a new life together ended suddenly thanks to Nish (Navin Chowdhry), who had spotted Eve and Suki kissing.

Nish instructed Ravi (Aaron Thiara) to kill Eve and dispose of the body but during a showdown in the woods, Ravi ended up letting Eve go – but told her to never return.

After Eve risked her safety and headed back to Albert Square, she reunited with Suki and the couple continued their plan to leave.

However, after Jack got involved, he called the police and told them Eve is alive.

This development causes Ravi to be released from custody on Christmas Day and as expected, he goes to visit Suki.

Ravi says that he’s out of prison because the police received news that Eve wasn’t killed – and Nish won’t be far behind him.

Elsewhere, as the Slaters enjoy a family lunch, Eve is left hiding in the garage.

Suki then arrives at the Slaters to collect Eve ahead of their exit, but ends up getting a panicked phone call from Vinny (Shiv Jalota). She is forced to return to Number 41, but pales when she’s confronted by Nish.

Nish forces Suki to sit down for the family Christmas dinner but she gets up and tries to leave.

With the door locked, Nish drags Suki back to the table.

As things escalate, it’s Ravi who steps in and restrains Nish in the kitchen, allowing Suki to run.

Just hours away from the Christmas Day murder, Stacey and Eve confront Jack for revealing all to the police and risking Suki’s safety.
