Meghan and Kate are on ‘really good terms’ and the pair are considering working together for a Netflix show which will detail Kate’s incredible charity work and her day-to-day duties as a royal
The Mirror says, The Duchess of Sussex, 40, is believed to have reached out to her sister-in-law Kate, 39, in order to discuss the exciting joint venture based on Kate’s incredible charity work since joining the royal family.
Meghan and Kate have been chatting ‘a lot more’ recently, and Prince Harry’s wife is eager to get the ball rolling on the Netflix project, which will give an insight into the life of the royals.
Lifting the lid on Meghan’s documentary plans, an inside source told US Weekly : “Meghan and Kate are actually getting along really well and have been in touch more often.
“Meghan has been talking to her about collaborating on a project for Netflix, a documentary that will spotlight Kate’s charity work and the huge impact she’s made with her philanthropy.”
Although she’s remained an incredibly private person within the royal family, Kate is said to be ‘flattered’ by Meghan’s offer, and is reportedly considering her offer to share a glimpse into her daily duties.
“Kate is very flattered, and it’s all very positive between them,” the insider revealed.
It comes after former Suits actress Meghan and her husband Harry signed a multi-year deal with Netflix in September 2020.
The couple, who have been the subject of much controversy this year after stepping down from their royal duties, are creating a collection of works for the streaming site, including documentaries, movies, series and children’s programmes.
Earlier this year, it was reported that Meghan and Harry were offered a whopping $100 million for the deal.
The pair set up their partnership, namely, Archewell Productions in September 2020.
Just six months after ceasing to be working members of the British royal family, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex became Hollywood producers.
